Steps
- Put ~800 ml cold water in a heat-safe beaker.
- Slowly add 20 g NaOH flakes with stirring; cool if hot.
- Top up to 1 L; label with concentration and hazard.
- Apply to alkali-safe surfaces; rinse thoroughly; neutralise spills with dilute acid only if trained.
